What is the purpose of a president?
What is the purpose of supporting a presidential candidate who supports things like universal healthcare. The president don't make the rules, folks! A president does not function as a king much less a legislating component of government. The president does not create laws or even policy (in the regard that funding MUST be approved by Congress). Our commander in chief has only the power to veto in that regard, but if we have enough congresspeople who are willing to support the will of the people, they can overturn that shiz!
Presidential elections in my opinion are somewhat inconsequential considering the bulk of the power rests upon our Congress, elected, by the way, by US!!!!
Lets take our power back!
