DOO! I had dinner yesreday with the Moo and his fam, delic!
I have free reign over the whole house, TV and all. His house is super fresh, palm thatch roof. Auroville is pretty wild and wacky...life a college campus of headies turned into a village...some people do yoga all day, somne people farm all day. Muru's got got things going on, works for an organic produce marketer and on the side works for an NGO that does Brain Gym....ed development in rural villages...so he's being a good man and I am glad.

I was sizing up the family goat yesterday, we'll see what happens.

Sizzurp!

for those of you who are totally aculutred...that means without culture...sizzurp is the result of mixing cheap whisky with cheap "maple" syrup.

I unfortunately have not been out skiing yet, I was really sick all weekend. But I'm watching the snow fall from my office window and I just can't wait to get outside and put on my skis. I typically go around the Madison area, but I'd be willing to meet somewhere in the middle. Otherwise, next time you're in Madison, make sure you bring your skis. Usually I go to Elver park or Indian Lake. I understand why you didn't sign up for the race, it is expensive. Maybe next year.

I'll keep you updated on a place to stay for the birkie, it may just be floor space, but it'll be warm. Let me know when you sign up. We can carpool up to Cable and I can show you the museum that I used to work for. I'm excited about the snow!!

I am going to ski the korte this year- which is the 1/2 birkie. (I’ve done it for the last 3 years.) It's about 16 miles. I haven't decided if I'm going to ski it classic or skate style, but I do have both sets of skis. (I'm better at classic, but by Feb. that may change.) I strongly recommend that you ski the korte first before you attempt a birkie - I didn't know what I was getting myself into the first time I tried to ski the birkie. Yes, let's ski together regardless if you ski the race or not. Would you like me to ask to see if there is space for you to stay with us in Cable for the race? (Because I lived up there for a year, I've got some connections.)

PS - it was great to see you a few weeks ago in Mad-town!!

Profile Information

About Me:
I'm living in Cheddarburg, WI attending UW-Milwaukee to receive my Masters in Secondary English Education. It is very different than Point. My classes are going well, and it is nice living near all of my family again. While here, I've been biking, running, camping, and trying to find other ways to stay active while I'm in school. Hopefullly we'll get some snow so I can cross country ski a bunch this winter.
i dream of:
Having a beer with many mascots from different alcohol brands. What would Christopher Point say or do?

Aldo's Cheese Curds (the best deep fried cheese curds of all time, which Celia may agree with). Sometimes I wake up with hot greasy cheddar running down my face while other times the cheddar has cooled into crusty piles on my pillow.

Teaching in and out of the classroom.

Paddling all of Wisco's whitewater someday.
i'm inspired by:
People who are doing things I'd like to do, which is just about everyone. Everyone is doing something that somebody would like to do I think. Like the guy sitting in front of me; he is in his sixties and has a nice full head of gray hair. I want to do that when I'm older.

Those who don't own a car. Even more so when there is no public transportation near them.
i get down to:
classic country music
my parents are:
Steve and Debbie
my birthday is on:
8/17/1981
i've travelled to:
A lot of great places in the U.S. like the Bob Marshall Wilderness, Wind River Range, Boundary Waters, Paria Canyon, Gila National Forest, Big Bend, Rio Grande, Porcupine Mountains, and many other beautiful areas. I went to Ontario once. I went to a Texas Road House once but will never go again. They should probably keep their road houses.
my favorite word is:
Did you know that bootylicious (sp?) is in the dictionary?

I just read the book and i worried about the movie. It does the book justice. There are a couple of minor changes but for the most part i think it did a really good job of conveying the f-d up tone of the movie. It makes me want to build a bomb she…
