- About Me:
- I enjoy making books. Fine art books, either blank or with content, I'm finding it very relaxing and satisfying. I just made a beautiful sketchbook for my mom with a hand dyed cover and blue front and back page. I think that it's important to make things for moms.
I just finished my Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. It feels good to be done with acadamia. Life has proven itself to be wide open and oppertunities are gracefully revealing themselves. My boyfriend Fred and I have started a fine art printing press called Hosco Press based out of Omaha, Nebraska (www.hoscopress.com). We work out of our basement studio and print for artists who don't have the facilities to imprint their creations. This also allows us both time to make our own artwork. This season we are printing for Jim Pollock the artist of Phish. Pretty exciting posters are coming off of the presses and I can't wait to see them showcased on summer tour!
I love playing basketball! Fred and I duel it out at least a few times a day, I am getting much better. I also enjoy tending to my garden, reading in the sunshine and cooking with TLC.
Nebraska is more beautiful then one would expect. It's quiet, breezy, weathered and the biking is OUTSTANDING! We have wonderful sand dunes, graceful rivers and fields of prarie grass that when the wind blows looks like a golden ocean. Please please visit.

It's official. Buckethead has a serious crush on Holly Baris. It was made obvious by how he thrusted his hair and elastic guitar strap in her direction on Saturday night. No shit. KFC, fingerlickin' hot!

It's been TOO LONG, my friend, too long! Are you and your man going to be back in WI for the holidays? I will be back Dec 14th-26th. If you will be there and are not too busy, it would be great to see you! Hope all is well; it seems that you are doing pretty great and congrats on your awesome printing Press! Everything that i have seen so far is absolutely beautiful, as I would have expected! Well, let me know what's new with you! I have been too busy with school, far too busy, and I am sure you can empathize. I am still dating Scott and we are doing well. Boise is great and finals week is coming up fast; I am looking forward to getting to WI and having some R&R. Well, look forward to hearing from you soon, let me know what's new in your world. I just checked out your printing press page. It is really neat, and I am proud to be able to say that my friend jewel is a "master printer". But you have always been a master printer.artist in my eyes. Anywho, just finishing up the semester here, two finals to go. Then I can send you wonderful tinctures! Yes! I just pressed out the rest of my gatherings from last year and am excited to make some new blends of tea, as I have been way too busy to make more and have expended my resources, as folks have become ill. I got the best compliment from one of my profs though; she said that she had tried every cold medicine out there and my tea was the only one that suppressed her symptoms and made it possible for her to play with her kids. So that was nice. So, I will email you when I send your package so you'll be on the lookout. Are you going back to WI this summer at all? I'll be there May 20th-29th. I am also excited cause I am getting chickens soon! Yes! Fresh eggs are always great, not to mention the wonderfulness that comes out the rears of those creatures, good shit (no pun intended!). Anyway, I'd love to chat sometime too, when I am done with the semester. I'll give a call. My address is 909 Marshall St. Boise, ID 83706. I'd love to take those most coveted shirts off your hands! I just read the book and i worried about the movie.
