From Deep Pacific, Ugly and Tasty, With a Catch
One of the most popular is the hoki, or whiptail, a bug-eyed specimen found far down in the waters around New Zealand and transformed into a major export. McDonald’s alone at one time used roughly 15 million pounds of it each year.
The hoki may be exceedingly unattractive, but when it… Continue

today's the day i get married
but it feels more like tomorrow
some thing old, something, new
something blue and borrowed.
i know tomorrow will feel like yesterday
but i won't feel like it then
i'll remember when it's happening
again and again and again
my sister's sayin it'll be different
i'm saying that it won't
i do i do i do forever
i do i do not don't
we'll chatter away the brilliance
which is what makes the brilliant's great
predetermining determinants
arranging twisted fates
i tip toe… Continue

Michael Jackson died today
And so did a little bit of me
He clutched his chest, and for on last time
Exclaimed, “hee HEE!”
Michael Jackson died today
He’ll be dead for ever more
His shiny shoes no more will move
Along the tiled floors.
No more “Rockin’ Robin”
No more “ABC’s”
No more white glove, no more white face
No more shaking of babies.
I’ve known you Michael Jackson
Since I was a little boy
I had a folder from your album Bad
It filled my heart with joy.
The first to make many feel Dange… Continue
Greetings Friends-
I hope this newsletter finds you well. I hope it finds you happy. And I hope it finds you in good health. Because June is an excellent time to be well, happy, and in good health.
There is not all too much to report. Today was supposed to be the day of the fun-raiser. As you can very well see I’m sitting at home writing a newsletter so it is in fact not happening. If you are at Blue Mounds State Park right now you are entrly misinformed and I apologize. It sucks that there is n… Continue

Greetings newsletter readers!
Happy May! Happy Spring! Happy day!
Unfortunately, this newsletter is not as happy as the greeting. I’m very sad to announce that, as of now, the Fun Raiser #5 is cancelled. I know its last minute and it really really sucks but I think for now it’s what has to happen. After planning for many months now the park came to the realization that their insurance would not cover the event, making the expenses to throw the party much higher than what we’ve ever brought in.… Continue

Pigs fly. Swines Flu.
I was scared of mad cow disease. I was scared of SARS and Bird Flu. I’m now scared of Swine Flu (H1N1 virus). Oddly, this induces comfort.
Thankfully, these terrifying sicknesses have fizzled out of the collective consciousness. I hope, and look forward for the same happening with Swine Flu. However, this doesn’t mean it should be disregarded. Although Peter’s cries were lies the wolves are always still in the woods.
While I do get overwhelmed by the media’s excessively th… Continue
